anyone interested in a january meeting? i can host again if nobody else wants to (i've gotten a few toys since the last time), but it'll be cramped and sucky if it's cold enough that everyone has to be inside at the same time.

Way to step it up Shivaji. I would love to check out your tank. Maybe while we are up there we could check out the other radford tanks. Cheers and happy new years to you all.

Sweet. I will just be getting back into town. I hope I can host a meeting sometime soon...I am guessing like 2-3 months if things turn around for me.

Is Mon 17th or any other day than Fri 14th possible? I'd like to join, but it is the only day I'm traveling this month.

I can do Saturday the 15th of January too - my wiife will be out that weekend presenting a paper at Lexington, Ky, and then I will be out at meetings at Richmond the next week. I do not think Mondays work for most of us, and since school starts next week for me this weekend is it.

What do folks think ???

sat would be bad for me because I have to work, but if that day is best for the rest its no big deal.

the weather looks like it will be nasty on friday evening- 44 and rain that day, then the temp drops to 16 that night.

Saturday works better for me... and maybe for the weather too.

OK - Saturday it is then. I just got hit by a "mandatory meeting" on Friday afternoon at work anyway, which would make it a bit tight for me.

Since it is Saturday, we could probably meet a bit earlier than the usual 6:30 PM - any preferences ?

Directions and final details in a couple of days ...

Sorry guys - last night when I started to send the directions my DSL went kablooey. Later found out that it was a hardware failure. Then I had this stuff at work today so I finally got around to it now.

Here it is then:

Address (for you mapquest folks) 207 Bird St., Radford, 24141-3106

From I-81:

Take Exit 109 to Radford (SR177 Tyler Ave.),
- left onto Hammet at third light (you will see RU thingy on right)
- 2nd. right on to Noblin
- 2nd left on to Sanford
- left on to Bird
- last house on left at dead end

mbort & others - from Rte 11 to Radford
- left on light at Jefferson (just before you get to the RU light)
- cross light on Tyler and you are on Hammet,
- follow directions above from there

matty and others from BBG:
Pepper Ferry past the NRV Mall all the way to the tee
- left at Rte 11 at the (the new bright Sheetz)
- right on Main St. after you cross the bridge
- first left on Walker (Thompson Tires)
- first left on 6th St and then
- right on 2nd Ave. (Scott St.) go about half a mile
until you come to a block of apartments (Copper Beech)
- right on to Bird St. immediately after the Apts. and go all
the way to end - house on left.

Map in my gallery.

Sorry you missed it Nick - we will do it again and hopefully I will get my stuff in better shape by then.

Thanks Shivaji. You have a great tank setup and I really like your philosophy...simple and easy.
