Try this link. Geocities has me blocked for using too much bandwidth.

Email them to me and I'll host for you. Probably a couple at a time, as I'm not sure what Cox's attatchment size limit is. One of these days I'll set up an account under my domain, and have whatever size I want.

Don, those are some great pictures. What can you get one of those cameras for now?

Hey, if you still need help moving that 200 gal reef, I have a suburban that I'll help you move it with.

Just as an FYI, if any comas members want me to host images, I have 300 megs of webspace and 15 gigs of monthly bandwidth on my site. I can even work it out so you can upload them your self.

Stan, those were taken using a Nikon Coolpix 950. It is a 2.1 megapixel camera. You can get a refurbished one for a little over $300. There is a new Coolpix 995 that is 3.34 megapixel starting about $700. The cameras are pretty nice and you can get interchangable lenses for them. Those were taken with a macro lense. They also sell wide-angle, fisheye, etc...

Don't tell the wife, but I'm hoping Santa brings me one this year. Oh wait, she reads these posts too.:D

I probably won't move the new tank until after the holiday's are over. My father-in-law isn't in a big hurry to get it out of his house, and I need to make room for it.

Don

Hey nice pics... Borrow it anytime you want Don.

Man, I got the bug to setup a tank now. I might luck out and get a 120+ gal tank for next to nothing. Sure help me get started since I'm on a tight budget.

Anyone want to trade? hahah I have a Thinkpad P2-400 laptop for some tank goodies.. :D

Richard,

I think you should sell me your camera and roll the money into a nice, new, Coolpix 995.

Beware of the Reef bug!!!

It is extremely contageous and there is no known cure. It starts as a little buzz in your head, then it moves straight to your a**, where most of us keep our wallets. From there, it consumes everything in the wallet. Cash, credit cards, checks, it doesn't care. Then it moves back up to your head and starts wispering, "Come on, what's a couple hundred more bucks when you already have this much invested." Then it moves back to the wallet and waits for you to feed it again. Before you know it, the little b*****d has worn a path up and down your back, wearing away at your spine. Once you are spineless and weak, you just start throwing your money at the bug hoping it will go away. Then, just when your tank is starting to finally look complete, the bug gets bored and starts wispering "Hey, wouldn't a bigger tank be cool?" "We could move the couch out to the garage and put it right over there." "Or, how about where the dining room table is, there's a lot of wasted space that would be great for a tank."

That's why we form clubs like "COMAS". It's reassuring to know that you are not the only one inflicted with this disease.

I will have some extra tank goodies when I get around to moving the 200 gallon. It is a complete setup and I plan to re-do most of it. I was going to put some of it on E-Bay, but I will give COMAS members first shot at any extra equipment. Let me get it all here and see what I won't be using. I could use a new laptop, or a nice camera.

Welcome, and good luck with that bug,

Don

ROFL...

Well, I am open for trades for sure. I don't use my IBM Thinkpad since I have 4 other pcs (my other adicition I'm slowly getting rid of for now). I think its a P3-400 with 256mb ram, DVD, 14.1 TFT.

Anyways, anything you have you don't need, let me know. I can always pay ya for it or clean up the backyard dog poop to work it off. baahaahh :D

Well I'm sure it can be an adiction, but you know you got it bad when your pawning off stuff to buy critters, bigger tanks. I don't plan on getting a 4kgal where I need scuba gear to clean the dang thing. Now that's bad. Well, maybe if I won the lottery I might. :D :D

I'd hang on to the laptop if I were you. You won't be spending much $$$ on computers for a while if you get a reef tank. ;)

I have 3 laptops, I think I can part with one. The HP one is new so I rather dump the Thinkpad while it still has some market value. They are selling for 400-600 on Ebay so I could sure use that for lights, etc,etc,etc,etc,etc,etc,etc....... etc....

I may just use my 75g the more I think. With the lack of more wall space, the 75g would be best, and save me some $ in rock, sand, and so on. But either way, I will take the free 120g if I can get it. I'll sell it then if I don't use it. moowhahaha. who knows.
