For those interested - Wisconsin Public Television is airing "War Wrecks and the Coral Seas" on Sunday, January 2nd at 7pm. Looks like it will be pretty interesting. Below is a summary of the show:

As a result of World War II, the waters of the Pacific near the Solomon Islands became a graveyard for warships, planes and submarines. But ironically, as underwater cameras dramatically reveal, these ghostly hulks gradually have become teeming centers of life, serving as reefs upon which fantastic mini-ecologies now thrive.

It's PBS, they'll replay it. Seems like you get every program twice before it goes away for a while ... just keep an eye for it.

Worth checking out, some really cool wrecks, and a few amazing `fly bys' that were worth watching.

Would be great diving ... and as I likely won't get all these places, worth checking out.
