I have a large Trachyphyllia geoffroyi (green open brain) in my 7g bowfront. Since it is big and squishy, I thought that it might make an appropriate anemone substitute for a pair of A. percula or A. ocellarus clownfishes.

Has anyone had experiences with their clownfishes accepting a green open brain as a host?

Thanks!

Well, I've answered my own question. My tomato clown is absolutely in love with the green open brain. He (or is it even a he yet? 1" tomato clown with fading juveline markings) is a bit rough with it though -- I want to see how the brain reacts over the next week.

Did they ever cause any harm to your red brain?
