This skimmer is less than 2 months old. It is the model with the bio-bale for a bio filter. Also has the maxi-jet upgrade. 129 $ firm. This skimmer works very well. I'm making a seperate wet-dry and dont need it anymore. I paid 159$ from richmond aquarium.

Price may be your problem. People sell used remoras for 75-100 all the time. You can get a new bak-pak off marinedepot shipped for 137.

This is true. But in this case there is no waiting, wondering if if it's going to be broke etc..I'll throw in a cup of black skimmate for free. By the way, does the one you mention come with the rio or the maxi-jet 1200 with the venturi. I'll take 120$ or trade for an excalibur in-sump. Later

That thing works pretty well. It was interesting getting it to hang comfortably on a 10 gallon tank, but it cleaned a buncha crap really fast. :) Thanks!
