QT Findings for how long

When I went to Mexico I found some gorgs and sponges washed up from the hurricanes. I have had them in QT since we got back.. going onto 5 wks... think this is l ong enough?

BTW the gorg with the beautiful purple cloring lost the coloring, it kinda flakes off whrn it is disturbed :mad2: :mad2: BUMMER. I hope it will at least get some coraline growth in the tank?!!?

5 weeks should be plenty. Does it look like anything survived the trip? Sounds like the gorgonian is dead. I've found that most stuff washed up is already dead or close to it.
Did you get that skimmer to work?
