Okay, more than 1 question.......

What make and model of pump(s) do you use? For what application? Why? Would/will you change pumps soon? Tell me your preference.

Thanks!

I use a Mag drive, although I can't remember which model. Never had a problem with it.

I heard a few people complaining about the Rios and that did it for me. I didn't even look at them.

I look for energy efficiency and verticality. I use a Mag 5 for calcium reactor, Mag 12 for return pump on basement sump.

I have a rio 2600 sitting in a bucket and a little giant ????-2 next to it.

Brian,
Did you finish putting your sump down in the basement? How much head pressure do you think you lost on your mag 12? I remember you were going to place it down there. That will help a lot in the summer. Jerry

Yep! Here is a crapy photo. The head is about 12 feet I thought it would be 14. Getting a hell of a lot of flow from the mag 12. about 800 gph!

That looks great. I am still debating on if I want to go behind the tank in the garage, or go plumb it downstairs. I bet you get some serious current going through your return. Nice
