Picked up an unidentified sea slug at Venice pets to see if it would eat the hair algae in my newest tank for dwarf seahorses. It's for sure a herbivore, it feeds on c taxifolia or c prolifera.

The problem is that I want taxifolia in the seahorse tank :( . If anybody wants an awesome herbivore to get rid of those macros it's free.

Hello Agu,
Does it eat hair algae? I bought a dolabella sea hare and a lawnmower blenny and neither one is touching it. ?????

Have it in a holding cell in the sump and added some hair algae on a rock. So far it hasn't touched it. I suspect some sea slugs are food specific. I paid a buck for it, and it's going back to the store if no one wants it.

It's still available.
