hi all,

i just bought a frogspawn and put it in my tank, i put it in an area that has a lot of current and was wondering if too much current is bad b/c it is not opening up all the way.

Move it to an area where the tentacles gently sway in the current.

give it time, remember the more current the longer sweepers you will have~ HTH

Not necessarily true, IMO really. The more current the less the frog will open up as the strong current will/could damage the frog.

yeah not if you blast 4000gph at it no then, but every frogspawn torch hammer or any euphyllia that i have the more current at it the longer the sweepers. i have a torch that is encroaching upon about a 10" diameter! blast water at it, it doubles in size 20" radius its. look in my gallery at some pics of them!

My froggy & torch hates strong current...I would put it where there is low flow...

My frog did not open as much with strong current. Put it in a relaxed area and it will thrive.
