"lavender" corals always look brown or tan to me.

Not an expert, but aren't frogspawns tentacles normally more elongated? The coral you have pictured looks like it has very short tentacles. Some other LPS perhaps?

Its a frogspawn. ;) Pic was taken shortly after I got it in. Its starting to open up nicely now. It is a very "bumpy" frogspawn. The green tipped frogspawn I have doesn't have near as many bumps/tips on it. As it spreads out the "tan" look is there less and less. I think it had that kind of look a little when it was compressed. When it spreads out all the way, I'll get another pic.

Not a ton. Its staying pretty tight. But then again, its still in a 50 galoon Rubbermaid prop tank. The 300 isnt ready yet. Hope to have the plumbing completed next week once the last of the fittings come in. Then its just the lights and it will be ready to rock. Its definitely going to be one of the tighter varieties either way. I kind of like that. Wont have to worry about it stretching out too far and stinging any neighbors. ;)
