new hammer

just got a new hammer today... its pretty small has i think 3 or 4 heads but they are small....and i put it in my nano which is 10 gallons and has 64 watts of 50/50 pc lighting...but anyways when should i feed it...at night or day...i gave it a little piece of mysis shrimp (freeze dried) and it maybe ate it but i dont know i kinda pushed a little piece into the tentilcles wihtout touching the coral and its either inside the mess of tenticles or its eating it...but what time is better to feed it

make sure you soak the freeze dry stuff before you feed it, frozen is better, once a week feedings would be fine and try and feed as many heads as you can. also make sure you keep up with those water changes in a tank that small.

It doesn't need to be fed, it will eat but it's not a requirement for the coral surviving. But the best time is the day while it is at full expansion. Just let the food drift into it lightly
