Ok this is my first attempt at designing a reactor. Basically I want to use a small pump to drive water through some phosban and carbon. We're talking nano scale here. 2" pipe is the only thing not drawn in the diagram.

My concerns are:
1) Will PVC glue melt fiberglass screen material
2) Will the media collect against the screen and impede flow and make the reactor worthless.

My other thought was that I could just simply put the screen over the mpt end of the pipes as I screw them into the fpt end to eliminate the melting question and make the media a lot easier to change.

Edit: On second thought I could glue the end that the direction of flow is headed to to help disperse the media and screw in the end the flows coming from to help ease media change.

check mine out if your coming over sunday, I scratch built mine (dual chamber), works perfrect, based on Sanjay's model, make sure you use a Dwyer flow meter, that way you wont have to count bubbles!!
