Brandon was right! (as always) clip on fans are needed as standard equipment. Anyone know best place to buy? My tank hit the 90deg mark 2 days ago! I was wondering why my clams were dieing and water smelled like calm chowder!!!!

Might have a hard time finding clipon fans this time of year since they are a seasonal item. Could probably pick up a couple 4" computer fans in 120v from Radioshack or somewhere similar.

If you're going to order computer fans save yourself a ton of casha nd order from allelectronics.com. Ratshack wants 10 bucks for a 1.50 fan sometimes.

I do about 40g every 3-4 weeks. I got pretty slack about it for a while, but I've been keeping up with the schedule now.

Northern Hydrolics on midlothian turnpike has them for real cheap - 6 inch fans I believe.

The fans that Northern has are 24v DC, and Northern doesn't sell adapters for them. I saw the same fans. I got really exited at first then read the fine print......why in the hell do they sell an electrical device that they don't even sell an adapter for???? to PI55 me off !!!!

You might want to try www.shoplet.com they had the best price and free shipping when I bought some from there a few months ago.
