I'm getting this insane favia from Adam (Cquarium) I love this guy. I got some crazy sps in the past from Adam, but I couldn't pass this one up. Putting it low on my LR is ok? I got 2 x 250 de 14k hamiltons. Can't wait till tomorrow. Here's picture from is site.

That is nice looking. Seen lots of red and green favias but the polyps are usually more or less uniformly spaced. This one is kinda random with much more space between them which is pretty cool.
Low or even under a overhang is probably the best bet for placement.
those things bleach pretty easy then take forever to color back up.

Nice one there Naka, I got a dremal if you every think you want to frag it.

I am going to have to come see your tank, you are getting to many good things not to take a look at it.

But ye need to let it get nice and settled, and all comfy first, so lets say in June. ;)

I can't get it anyway, right now I don't have the space.

I don't like dealing with Adam at all. I have had a bad experience with him in the past. His answers in his emails are very short, unhelpful, and sarcastic. I just recently mailed him about a high res picture of his $200.00 eflo, just asking for a high res. If I am going to pay that I want to see a nice shot, I don't think its asking too much. This is his exact response:

"My camera doesn't offer higher resolution that what you see. If you have a problem with the pic., then your monitor needs adjustment."

WTH kind of response is that? Not a company I want to spend 1000's with.

Hey Naka, if you dont mind me asking, how much did/are you paying for that speciosa? I just wanted to get an idea comparable to what we paid on Live Aquaria

Chris,

I was not being "sarcastic" at all. I am sorry that you took it the wrong way. We get 60-100 emails a day with all kind of questions and I try to answer all of them. However, I have to be short and direct to the point.

Happy reefing,

Adam
