Bruce, the owner of Milton Mini-Reef, has offered to host a meeting at the store. A Saturday evening at 7:30 would work best for him. It would be good to have as many of our regular members attend as possible. We are also going to put the word out and encourage new people to attend.

The dates we are looking at are December 11th or 18th. Please reply to this thread and let us know which one would work better for you.

Either will work for me...

I'll update the flyer and send it over to someone so they can post it at the shop.

Here's the flyer if someone wants to print it out and post it over there. don't make it into Milton very often.

Feel free to make any edits, I relisted the info for the 18th assuming that's when it was going to be held. If anything changes, please make sure to make the necessary corrections on the flyer. Thanks!

(that is if everyone decides to use it?)

Okay,

we are set for the 18th. I put a notice on the board at MMR, and Bruce is going to talk to customers about it.

I'll contact Bob and Ed to let them know about it. I've been trying to get in touch with Todd W. Is there anyone else?

I'm planning on it. If I get back in time. I'm picking up the lighting for my tank on Sat..

I'm going to try and be there...

Anybody trading anything? I have a piece of Robusta and a large piece of M. Digitata (the purple branch with orange/brown polyps).

I also have yellow with purple tip monti-cap.

I also have my carpet anemone that I need to find a home for...

I'd really like to frag my neon orange cap that is just CRAZY, but I'm a bit nervous. Last time I fragged a piece of cap, it RTNed. This is way too nice to lose! If someone wants to help me frag it, they're welcome to a piece. I'd like to try and get it to form some new plates.

I think that's it....

I would be interested in some frags of xenia, or any other coral. Willing to pay also. My lighting is 110w PC and 60W NO over a 16in deep 30g.

this feels ridiculous to say, but I've been looking for cheap/free xenia. I'd love a bunch if you've got extra, I'd be willing to toss a few bucks at it.

BTW... what time is everybody meeting? 7:30

Hey Valexia... I have friends in Taunton.

Nolo, I'll bring that purple tip digitata, a piece of that cap (if it's still alive, it's been resting on some GSP for a while), and I'll bring the 3 robusta frags that I have for anyone interested.

All frags are loose and are not mounted, I need to pick up some rubble.

I'm selling big brown. Its an acropora polystoma thats trying to turn purple. However, its grown too big for my reef and needs a good home. Healthy, moderate-fast growing. $50. It needs good current and at least 250 watt MH lights.

It will take a 5 gallon bucket to move this coral. It can easily be fragged to make 3-4 good sized colonies. I can bring it to the club meeting to night.

I'll take a frag of big brown to keep him in the family ;)
I'd just need to get about 3 others to split it with me... They don't call it BIG brown for nothin'

Go ahead and bring him... Looks like Pete is gonna split it with me at some point. I'll find a place to put him for now (I hope)

How is big brown mounted?

You know what... On second thought, I don't think I have the space for it either... If it needs to come in a 5 gal bucket, then it more than likely isn't going to fit.

I need to get rid of my carpet anemone before I can take on big brown. Maybe if you could keep it for a little longer until Pete can make the trip up. I could probably take half of BB, but I don't think I can take the whole colony.
