View Full Version : trade LR w/ corals for LR w/o corals

I have taken down the old tank w/ mostly softies. I need some LR for the new tank. I am willing to trade LR pound for pound. My LR with corals for your LR w/o corals. The new tank will be SPS dominate.

Most of my rocks are Med to Large. Looking for the same. I love my LR and have debated kalking the corals but cant seem to bring myself to do it. All rock is Kaleni (sp.?). One rock is close to 50lbs w/ shrooms and an extra large toadstool.

If no LR cash is fine. :D

ill buy some rocks. how much are u looking to get per pound???? my lights can really only support shrooms- but heck i need the rock.

i may be able to trade you some rock out of my sps tank. i could throw in a frag or two of sps as well. you are not getting rid of that frogspawn are you? you have in better pictures of the rock you trying to get rid of?

not like i am an expert by any stretch, but you could probably get away with keeping both. i have sps and leathers in my tank. i just run a little carbon to try and cut down on the chemical warfare. and i also try to give them space between each other. that should be no problem in a 180.

I will keep the frogspawn w/ perc. clown, octobubble, zoas, and a yellow leather. Everything else can go.

I see that you have a Xenia encrusted powerhead too.Each time I take the stuff of it comes right back!I might have some rock for you.I am getting ready to part with my 38gal soon.Most if the rock,though is in the 8-10# range or smaller though.Good pieces to fill in the gaps.My email..
