I can....just don't want 10 people asking me to bring 10 boxs of salt. My little honda prelude can't handle all that weight. I can bring you some, what do you use. Just remember I have to tag a few bucks for sales tax.

Do you ever come down to Raleigh/Durham, NC? I know a couple people around here could use some more salt but I don't think the shipping would be worth it.

Wow!! thanks for a great deal. I'll be by to get 2 200g IO boxes thurs. Do you carry the power sweep powerhead by zoo med? Looking for the 226 or 228.

wildthing,

I would stay away from those powerheads. They lose their action very quickly and just kind of stink when compared to maxi-jets or seios.... and of course Tunze.

Peace,

Hey Mike,

I'd really appreciate it if you would bring up one box of IO 200G for me to the frag swap, that is if your back can handle it. I'll grab it out of your car.

That is quite the steal even with tax tacked on. Will check be allright, or would you rather have cash?

Peace,
John H.

John funny you should mention sucky PH's, I just finished beating the crap out of a maxi jet that refuses to work in the upright position, it will work upside down but first you have to knock it around to get the impeller started. Its old

I had heard bad things about the power sweep but the lure of a sweeping PH made me give it a try anyway. I've been using it now for about 6mts with no problems!! No heat build up, no sticking. It does take up a lot of room vertically and its not very powerful but for a 20g it does a great job of coverage. I'm using the sweeper on one side of the tank and a reg PH on a wavemaker and I like the sweeper better, with 2 sweepers I'll be able to cover the entire tank with no dead spots. Hopefully, I'll get lucky and have no problems with the second one.

well colleen,

I'm glad that it has been working for you. I also hope that you have good luck with the second one. :)

Peace,

Thanks but you know what has to happen now that I've said good things about it don't you? This one that I've had will blow up while I'm away tomorrow poisoning and electrocuting everything in the tank or the new one will choke almost immediately. Murphy rides my shoulder. lol

Coleen, I have had VERY bad luck with zoo-meds also! POS! Bring you some info on something new I am trying- (its cheap $ wise) Probably, another POS----- but it has worked longer allready than any zoo-med I owned! ( hate to admit---5-- srugg head)

zoo meds do suck. I think I have one left, since I tell all my customers how they stick. I did get in some hydor rotating deflectors. They rotate 360 and will fit on most powerheads.
call me at the store tomorrow and I will get you the price on the zoo med. I think they are 35 but I can definitly give you at least 20% off
the # is 452-0990
I get in after 12 pm

Hydro- flo is what I have been trying ! they work great so far! only 2 months, small snails stopped each of them the first week twice- but since then, knock on wood, no problems. Time will tell!
