NORA Plans

Currently NORA is a brand spanking new club and we have not orginized any events at this time. One of the first things that we did plan however was to get this forum started to get some hype for the club and to give something tangible for people to visit until we have our fisrt meeting.

Our meeting date will most likely be on Sundays (2 ish) or will be later on a weekday evening (7 ish). If you are interested in Joining NORA or getting more information about meetings dates and club information, please e-mail, PM me or post below and you will be added to our mailing list.

Thanks for your intrest and I am looking foward to meeting many Hobbiests in the near future.

Good news, Talked to out local fish store (pet supplies plus) and the area manager there was very helpful and seemed very glad to hear about our club starting. After talking to him I have landed a 10% Discount for NORA members, Its not finalized but I got a very positive Verbal confirmation!

Hey, do you know where you all are going to get together for meetings and stuff?

It hasnt been completely decided on yet, but It looks like the first few will be held at a resuraunt type place. What resturaunt I am not sure but one. In the future I would enjoy holding meetings at peoples homes so that everyone will have a chance to showcase thier aquariums (if theyd like to) Also the atmosphere would be a bit more relaxed and small semina type things would be easier to handle at a home.
