I got a BTA that split from a fellow reefer on 10/30/01. The BTA has been doing fine since I placed in the aquarium. I have 440W of VHOs along with 2 250 Iwasakis over the aquarium.

My only concern is that the previous owner of the other half of the anemone said that he fed it krill 2-3 times a week and it happily took the food. I have tried feeding the BTA in my aquarium several times without any interest. Should I be concerned?

Rico.

Try fish, wiggle it in his tentacles
-- maybe he needs some tlc since he's just moved -- from what I've read on other posts, it sounds like when stressed their nematocysts go into shock or something.. whatever the cause, IMHO, it is important to get him to eat

try any and everything:
shrimp, oyster, clams, silverslides, frozen fromula i or ii
make sure it's small so it will fit in his mouth
