Ok. For all practical purposes - this is a new unit
This is the Aqua C Remora wih the MaxiJet 1200 pump (~$160) that is fitted with a drain fitting (~$20) by the manufacturer. I used this for a total of 8 days in a tank that I was using just to cure live rock. It took about 2 days for the skimmer to 'break-in' and then it worked flawlessly for 6 days. After that, the rock was cured the Remora came down (my main tank that the rock was going to has an in-sump skimmer).
I was impressed with the performance of this skimmer to say the least - it worked better, faster, quieter than I had been lead to believe. I've kept it because I was going to use it on a 55G tank I was going to set up eventually. But I decided now to go another route and get another tank with overflow and sump.
So I'm selling this remora with maxijet and drain fitting for $150 shipped anywhere in the US. Local pickup is available for $140. I was really wanting to sell this to someone looking for a basically new, flawless unit (it is absolutely, TOTALLY clean and looks new) but wanting to save a bit of money. Check out the pictures. Instruction manual will be included as well as injector-cleaning brush.
