Not sure my tank will be ready in time, so I will have to hold off for the time being.......Need to treat my tank for hydroids first once the med. arrives.. Plus I am still doing some research on them which isn't completed yet.....

Hey Bryan, Pris is giving her daughter the seahorse tank this weekend..... she couldn't see any of the dwarf babies yesterday but found some today ! I think maybe the large female she has might be eating them !

Are they captive bred or wild caught? Wild caught tend to have a lower survival rate....

Hi again ! Just an update on the dwarfs......So far 2 of the other places that have the dwarfs only have Wild caught.... I am really thinking of staying with the $10.00 each guy....A friend, PRIS bought from him before and was very pleased with the Dwarfs from him !

Anyone else have any ideas ?

I'd say captive bred, lower mortality rates, and less impact on the ocean.

Ok, Here I am again !

I have decided that I personally would prefer to pay the few extra $ each for the CB Dwarfs, so I am going for the original provider, since I have a friend that had excellent survival rate with her 5 from him.

I am aiming for a NOV 12 Delivery.

If anyone else is interested please let me know by Nov. 6th !

Thanks,

Kathy

Hi John

Still going with uneven # of 3 ? Very not nice to leave 1 unpaired !

Pris is going to get a gorgonian for hers to hitch to. He has 3 different kinds. I already have a golden one saved for me as well as the 2 pipefish.

(Oh yeah, she might be tagging along on Sat for the SWAM meeting), if so I will follow you down )

It's early to bed for me ....I downloaded/printed a ton of info on the Dwarfs and want to read them !

Too bad I only have an empty Dwarf seahorse tank to glance at in there. Still wish I could have something like your awesome "Headboard"

Oh well, I guess I can still watch the baby shrimp and serpent stars I put in there last week from my 125 sump !

those shrimp are pretty active little buggers, I can't wait till they get some color so I can tell what kind of shrimp they are !
