local and maybe national club subchapters

Southeastern Marine Aquarium Society...

we have been tossing around the idea of starting up a southeastern u.s. club with subchapters in different locals.our website is located here http://atlanta-smas.org please notify with a new post if you are interested in starting a subchapter...a yearly meeting, and frag event, would be one goal to shoot for.our club has grown extremely fast in two short months...we want to keep the meetings as intimate as possible by branching out into smaller subchapters. our club organizers have always stived to have the direction of the club steered by its members.

i posted this in the announcement section of the forum. is their any interest in starting a chapter in another ga location, or another state location?

One Idea I had was to call these chapters "frags" ie:

"The Macon Frag of the smas"

The give each frag a forum with sub-forums to do thier frags business and making these forums read only for everyone out side thier group.

Then like Wasabi said hold a yearly get together.
