hardwood floors?

hi. i noticed your beautiful tank and i also noticed that you have it on hardwoord floors. i am in the process of setting up my 180 gal. reef again in our new home. i am planning on setting it up on hardwood floors and wondered if you had any problems with that? thanks for your input.

Skipper, you made mention of several (if not only one: Referencing http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/totm/index.php) modification to your double chamber Calcium reactor. What were those modifications and were they more for space reasons or productivity reasons? When was the last time you changed the media? Do you change both barrels at the same time? Do you alternate them as you do your lights?
