BUMP---- Jounior, I noticed you have t-5 lighting, I had someone give me a 4" t-5 artinic fixture today, ( plan to bring it to meet- very small) I tried it in my tank and it seems add great color. Thinking about buying another !($30)

I got mine from sunlight supply but I had to ship them out to get fixed. One of the sockets went bad and started arching like crazy. Pretty cool though they pay for it to be shipped to them and back and everything.

A 4" T5 actinic fixture? I didn't know they made them in those lengths? Where'd you get it from?

Peace,
John H.

Atlandtis aquariums- here in richmond, west end. they are using the on thier live stock tanks. they are 4ft stand alone fixtures that can, if you want, be attached together. BTW, I ordered my cal. reactor from MRC friday before last, he said he would ship last Wensday, then said this Wensday. picked up a used 10lb CO2 tank (filled) for 75$ at richmond oxygen!

Very nice Charlie... you are on your way.

4 ft is more like it. That's pretty cheap for a 4 ft long T5 HO lighting rig.

How blue are the actinic bulbs. Is it a true actinic bulb with the deep purple or is it more bluish?

Peace,
John H.

is that the 'disposable' fixture from helios? they had an earlier model that wasn't HO. people aren't really sure yet if these are HO either.

Nova is on package, yes it looks cheap and it is 28$ at a LFS!!!!!!! but it really lit up a 6ft tank for 28watts- must be HO, peaks at 460. All of the zoos, really looked GREAT!!!

The T-5 actinics that I have seem to be real actinics. It does have a blueish tint to it though. I love mine cant wait to get them back. Where is Atlantis Aquariums? Isnt it off patterson? I live over in Stoney Point but work over in the west end and would love to check it out.

Its not easy to find, and I have given away all the cards I picked up from them, so I don't have the #. I will get it to you (pm) later. Call first to get directions, I had a hard time and I live very close. They are just off patterson across from cantabury square shopping center, close to friendlys. they just opened . the store isn't very big, but they seem to be great people ( husband &wife team)and they carry alot of clams!
I just noticed, I put 4 inches instead of ft!!!! a 4inch one would be really neat!!

I know they don't sell SPS. Clams are nice though.
My parents live real close to the shop I think.

Peace,
John H.

yeah dont you have to go down patterson and take pump rd or something like that? A guy that I met at the Pet Club on Parham road said that he picked up a pice of Acropora (frag) from there for like 10 bucks.

hcs3, Thank you , so much, for settng this up. Many of us here in Richmond , Va - have been looking forward to this and were unsure of how to get it started!!!!
BTW, Journior- did you get by alantis? David at pet club, (parham) has helped me sell and buy many aquariums!!! good guy, but the saltwater stock at all Pet clubs in our area is pitiful!

Jounior

Yeah It is kinda sad. But if you want something from PetClub all you have to do is ask and DAVE will hook you up. He is the man for sure. He has helped me out alot. I MEAN ALOT. He knows alot.. Fun guy to talk to.... and all around a good guy. Doesnt know a whole lot about ICH though. If I opened a LFS.... Actually thinking about it. I would hire him.
