Anyone ordered online?

Has anyone ordered mantis shrimp(scyllarus) online? How was it? I dont want to because i want to see the mantis and pick out the one i want before i get it. Did they have good coloring?

Dont know where in Jersey you are but a place called Animals and Things in Woodbridge has 3 O.scyllarus for sale,decent color.15 bucks,a lot cheaper than shipping would cost.They were there as of yesterday 10/9.

Thank you so mutch! I live in oceanport(near redbank and longbranch in monmouth county). Woodbridge isint that far away, i'm gona go and check them out.

I just came home from Animals and Things. Its a great store, well compared to Tropaquarium, my little LFS. When i went they had 2 mantis left, Odontodactylus scyllarus i think, 1 male and 1 female. Terrible how they keep them in those little containers.

Thats what I believe they are also.Yeah thats why I have so many,cant stand to see them all stressed out like that.So.....they come home with me.
