Next tank tour is at Dawns place... it is the the NOBLEBORO area ;)

I think the date is the 6th, but I want to confirm the date and time with Dawn.......Dawn will post directions Any suggestions for a topic? Perhaps lighting.. any 'experts' out there?????

There will be a meet or at least a getting to know you thing... in Southern Maine , probably at Port City... details need to be worked out for that but keep your eyes open ... all you southerners should let us know when is a good time for ya.. perhaps some of the northerners can venture down south for a visit..We are open to tours of the southern reefers as well..... especiallly while the weather is sitill good and it is not dark at 3pm!!!

I also hope to go to the Boston meet, I beleive it is the last Sat of Nov still... more to come on that ..... if there are any interested people, we can carpool.. they usually have some good stuff at the auctions

I'd love to make a trip up to experiance a meeting and I could even give a demanstration on lighting being a electrician and having two hoods and a dozen retros under my belt.BUT..... I will be there the weekend before your meeting :( .

I think it would be great to have a class on light set-ups... I tried over-driving aome NO tubes but am not sure it worked.. no real way to measure.. sure could use that PAR or LUX meter ;)

Anyway.. I think some one overdrove T5s with an Icecap and got some great results

I wrote on the flyer at Bob's that the next meeting will be local. Gib said that a lot of people have asked about the club and it looked like about 8 of those little tags had been ripped off. :)

Start on ME-17 (at EASTERN AVE & STONE ST in AUGUSTA) going towards KENNISON ST - go 12.6 mi
2. Turn Right on ME-32 SOUTH - go 14.2 mi
3. Turn Right on US-1 - go 5.2 mi
4. Turn Left on FERN COVE RD (orange mailbox post, American flag) - go 0.3 mi
5. Arrive at 65 FERN COVE RD, NOBLEBORO. It's a white house with a white gambrel garage.

I'll try to put up a sign at the mailbox and in the driveway.

I'd love to come. but the 6th is a steam work day, and I have comited to wotk on the locamotive.

I am in south portland and only have a small 90 gal corner tank.. the wife will not let me set up the bigger tank that is in storage.
I would love to get to know some other people that are into reefs.

Well It seems I will be in waldoboro this weekend after all.

I would love to attend .If you peeps figure out if you are gonna build a stand or light retro whatever I can take a bunch of pics of my DIY stand and the new 48" aluminum hood I built. That way we can compair notes etc....

Im thinking for a 210 4x4 stock would be a good idea.

Just wanted to say thanks to Dawn for the tank tour and the zenia and to John for the fun ride to the meet !

We had an awesome time ! It was very nice to meet all of you that attended ~ We can't wait till the next meeting since we can learn soooo much this way. Got a few new ideas too !

I think everyone left with something except Dave and thats just because his tank has no water in it yet!!!!

Awsome job Dawn! And I liked the idea of blending mushrooms, sad as it sounds but it may be a great way for the club to gets some funds going...as well as pass some on to those who do shroooms :p

I still cannot get to over the manits either.. she is way to cool!
