I sent a few down to micro in a sample container and said a lady found them in her bottled water.. had tem going for a minute:lol:

Thanks Bryan.... now I need to find the time to come up this weekend.... maybe I will try to get hubbie to come up and see your tanks Sat evening.. Sundday is out and Mon I have the grandkids til late afternoon..ttyl about a time

Denise, I have sufficient bristle worms at present. But, I agree they are EXCELLENT scavengers and the fact you have them in your sea horse tank attests to the fact they are HARMLESS. I still have 'Kenny', the biggest bristle I've ever seen, must be 2 feet long!:mixed:

When I first got into this hobby, one LFS told me that bristle worms were undesirable... that they were detrimental to corals and even live rock. I have always had them and they never seem to bother anything, but I usually remove them when I come across them. Are there 2 schools of thought on bristle worms, or was this LFS totally off base?

I still have some Wynne so when we catch up I can get some for ya... there will always be some in the SH tank as long as there are no predators..

Silvo, I think there are two thoughts on bristle worms... there are either loved or despised.. I do not mind some, they have never bothered anything and are geat scavengers.. I do want to keep them thinned inthe SH tanks due to lack of predators.. I am the only predator they have in there!

Denise, I'd like some more spagetti algae too if you still have some to get rid of. It looks really nice in my tank and is the only green I've found I can keep with my yellow tang and pygmy angelfish.

Denise, sorry, I DO have some bristle worms at present. But, I have a 6 line wrasse who'd LOVE some more bristle worms, she looks for them CONSTANTLY. I'll take some from your SH tank if you have any more. Sue
