I haven't seen my Yellow Wrasse since I fed the tank Friday night. He's usually the first to eat when I feed - no show last night and this morning. I looked all around my tank for its body, but could not locate it. I'm sure that if my cat hasn't gotten to it, a stench will help me locate it later on in the week. I just hope that he's deciding to hide out under the rocks for awhile or something - but it's doubtful. Funny thing is, I mentioned to Tim at Ken's house yesterday how I needed to throw some egg crate on top of my tank to prevent another carpet surfing incident...

Whew! "Big Bird" as we call him just popped up outta who knows where! Sweet! Tim, if you read this, I'd like to get that extra egg crate you said you had laying around off of your hands. I don't wanna have to scoot my oven around looking for dead fish again!

Cool. If you're going to be in the neighborhood anytime past 3pm this week, let me know. I'd like to get that stuff onto my tank ASAP.

Thanks again for the egg crate, Tim! I managed to get it cut perfectly for one side, but the other side took some "custom" work... Anyhow, I left myself a small strip uncovered to I can feed the tank without taking the light fixture off.
