DSB Question

This weekend I changed from crushed coral to sand. I have a 58 gal with about 4" of sand in the front and have it sloped to about 5 1/2" in the rear of the tank. I used Southdown Tropical Play Sand and put 40LBS of live sand on top and about 75lbs live rock. I am currently running a Hang on power filter and it has removed most of the suspended particles. My question is how long should I wait before turning back on my skimmer and power heads? When I turn them back on will the sand blow all over my tank again?

You'll have to adjust the PH returns so that they don't move the sand around. I'd turn the PH's and skimmer on as soon as the water clears.
