I have a pair of 3-stripe damsels that spawn every couple of weeks. I am considering attempting to raise them.
I am assuming that raising them will be similar to raising clownfish.
Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions that may help?

Thanks
Tim

Since no one has answered this I tell you what I've heard. The main problem wiyh raising damsels other than clowns is they won't accept rotifers as a first food. They apparently are programmed to eat copepods, so if you got the time and access to the sea and plankton net you might be able to feed them sifted wild plankton alot of effort for a cheap fish. Don't expect to make money, but if you do it you got a feather in your cap.

Gee:
I apologize for not seeing this post intially.
So I looked into breeding damsels at the breeders registry
http://www.breeders-registry.gen.ca.us/database/POMCAE01.htm

the lister suggested the use of greenwater, but it is obvious from his lack of long term success that greenwater is not sufficent to support damsel fry.

Thanks for your information I'll keep it handy

Thanks guys,
I guess I'll experiment with copepods and see if I have any success.
