And how long do you think I could safely store this stuff?

:bounce3: Pat's back!! Good to hear from ya.

Where am I getting this stuff? I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you...next question....it's from a guy in the Jeff City area. He has inlaws in the Springfield area, so transport isn't a problem.

How long will it last? I would guess a heck-of a long time. I've had bags in my garage for going on 2 years and it's still nice and sifty.

Great avitar by the way!

Hmmmm....I have 450lbs in the 100g. I would guess 6-7.

Eddy: There's a guy near Jefferson City who gets the sand. I believe he gets it from a Home Depot in Kentucky.

If you still have some southdown I sure would be interested in some?

Been out of touch lately as my 3 month old son takes all my time now but things are getting all settled in.

I could use some as well if you have any left. I'm setting up my first SW tank. Trying to get everthing I need before I start.

Hey John! Welcome to the SEAS Forum! Where in Missouri are you located?

How many bags were you wanting?

Thanks for the welcome! I live near Carthage.

I think 10-12 bags should do it. It's a 180 gal. Does that sound about right?

RedSea,

I would like 6 bags if possible.

Also I really like the T5's. I have slowly been adding a few frags and I must say my pulsating xenias are growing like weeds. I have a LTA at the bottom and its doing great and a couple sps apcropora are going great as well. My tanks depth is only 16" so I am sure that plays a factor but I really like the T5 so far.

Yes, I am in Lebanon.

Also if you would be so kind, send me a PM with payment details for the southdown and joining details. With me being up here I am not sure if I can catch you at a meeting.

:blown: In regards to our Southdown order. This is the reply I got from Greg our Southdown guy:

Well . . . . . there is bad news. Tony, from the local fishstore has been buying sand from me. He knows where I keep it. He needed a bunch the other day to set up a 180. So he came by and picked it up when I was not home. So the short of it is I do not have any more sand for sale. Sorry man, I will not have anymore until Spring.

To say this is a real bummer is an understatement as I was needing some as well.
