Hello all, I'm located in Greenup , Ky. I thought that I was a loner !!! I am very much interested in joining your club. I have a 75 gal mini-reef that has been set-up for about 3 mos. I would like to attend your next meeting and meet the gang to see where all of you are from. I already have 13 different corals, don't know about being able to provide any frags just yet, but I am sure that I can learn alot from your group and will be more than happy to frag out as time allows. Although I do have one large 6"x7" Horn(Hydnophora) that I could bring if anyone is interested. I have heard that they are hard to break-up without shattering the skeleton ???? Have any of you tried to do a group thing with DR.Mac Corals ??? I think that he has a group/club discount program. I plan on stopping in to see him next year when I go back to Ocean City, MD , he's located in Salsbury, MD. I drive right thru there on my way to the beach every year. Anyway, waiting to meet and talk with you all, later, Curt.

hi curt

looking forward to meeting you at our next meeting. We havent done a group order with Dr mac yet but have gotten a few group orders together with other vendors. Im sure whenever you want to place an order with dr mac you could scrounge up some locals who want to get in on it with you.

Also Jomars can special order corals for you if you are interested. Not sure if you have been there yet but their livestock/customer service is top notch!

Hey Curt

See you found us :wavehand:

Don't worry too much about having frags to trade. We usually have an auction too for people not trading plus several of us "share" our extras

btw Jomars is where we have our meetings. Firefish2020 (Ron) works there and coordinates our meetings so watch his posts.

Hey Curtis, welcome to the club. I don't guess anyone has told you but there is one requirement. You have to post a picture of your tank. ;)

But seriously, don't worry about it if you can't bring any frags. There are always frags up for auction if you don't have any to trade.

Lowcel,,, how are you posting pics of your tanks with only 50K for an image. My software has expired and won't let me resize anymore. My pics are around 870K !!!! I'll still try to post a few parts of it.
