PJ Cardinals.

Seen your post about the Bangaii Cardinals-2 males not being compatable. Is this also true of PJ's? I've had 2 for 4-5 months now. I have a 75 gal. and they pretty much hang out at opposite ends of the tank. How do you sex? and should I get rid of one if they are both males. Thanks

To my knowledge there is only a size difference between the males and female PJ cards. I would have to guess on this one, and say that two males will probably NOT tolerate each other, IF there is was a female present.

Usually when i see PJ cards they are in small schools, and they tend to be composed of multiple females. If your fish spend time at opposite ends of your tank, I suspect you have 2 males. Your call if you want to get rid of one, as they peacefully co-exist why disrupt a good balance.
