Re: Acrylics class. How many members who will be at the next meetings have laptops with cd drives? I'm planning on a bunch of pictures and it would be great to burn a few CDs and let everyone view them on laptops.

a laptop would be nice.....but i think a cd would be a great idea. but do we need to be looking at the laptop while we are doing the acrylics workshop? i'm guessing this is the case.

at any rate, i'm sure we can share if need be.

Thanks Amy - now if we can get several more .....
The plan is for a picture presentation and then hands on project work. If I know how many will attend I will burn enough cd for everyone to take home

Gary, I'll see about getting Power Point on my laptop and get some kind of projector. Not sure how successful I will be, but I'll try! :D

I have a laptop I use for work with power point on it. It is a work computer so it (Company)wont let you install anything on it but to run a power point presentation I think would be ok. My only problem is I will be out of town that weekend and not sure when I am getting in on Sunday, trying to get home early enough to make the meeting.

Great if you can make it. No installation - just access to photos on the cd with a viewer.
