Thanks, Carlos.

Assuming you are talkin' about the fry:
Being that the fry hatch at night and I have never seen any yet, I will just continue to enjoy the ritual of spawning. I am not quite up for the whole rearing process yet.

Assuming you are talkin' about anything else
(such as confiscation to CarlosReef)
:uzi:

Skipper,
What kind of anemone is that and how long did it take the clowns to adopt it? I have a pair of flase percs and they won't go near my bubble tip anemone. It's been about 5 months now.

Thanks,
Ron

It is commonly called a Long-Tentacle Anemone (don't know the scientific name). They took right to it the first day they were put in the tank. Here is some more information:

http://www.keil.ukans.edu/ebooks/ch2.html#ocell

According to the author, false perculas take to: "Heteractis magnifica; Stichodactyla gigantea; S. mertensii." Since a bubble-tip is known as Entacmaea quadricolor, I'm afraid you may need to consider getting another anemone.

According to Joyce Wilkerson, False percs will sometimes adopt E. quads in captivity. BTW, I don't think the long tentacle anemone is a natural host for false percs either. Oh well, congrats on the spawning.

Skipper...that is awesome! I've had my pair in my tank for around 7 months now and they haven't spawned yet. I can't wait until the day they do. Any tips?

Thanks nanoguy. My clowns were paired and living together for around a year and a half before they decided to get nasty! :p I have no idea why they decided to mate after all this time instead of earlier. The only things I can really suggest are to provide them with good water quality and conditions, a varied diet, and learn the art of patience. Good luck to ya.....

You know they have boards for that type of filth to be posted on and I don't think it is appropriate here......just kidding, someone had to say it.....
