So who do I complain to??

Just a heads up to the hacker who runs this board. The sand depth calculator IS NOT working. It sends you back to the home page when you tell it to calculate.

Have some patience and faith. I'm sure John will will check it out when he can. Remember John and all of us mods work real jobs too, so these things can take longer than 20 minutes.

I just tried it a half dozen times, and it worked every time. I even exited and re-entered from different pages, still worked just fine. :confused:

Maybe it's just my computer, :) I tryed it again and it still sent me to the home page.
Maybe if one of you would so kind as to do a couple of calculations for me I would appreciate it.:)
I am trying to find the amount in pounds for the sandbed of my new tank. The tank is a hexagon front with a flat back, so two calculations will need to be made. first is 72" x 24" and the second one is 60" x 12" :) Thanks for any help ya'll maybe able to give me.

510Lbs total, assuming a 4" sand depth.

It does send you to a Home page but not the one you started in...just click on calculator again and it will work.:)

Thanks guys for all of your responses. The calculator works in my home computer.so I now know that I will need 385 lbs for a 3" sand bed. I have a very deep sandbed in my 90 gallon tank, and I don't want it in the new one. :)
Must be the computer John cause it worked for me here!
