Where can I find Online...a place that sells very very small clams? I have a 10gallon and its full with one large rock, and coarl, so I need small creatures.
Im talking dime and nickel size clams here. Thanks for your help:) Greg

Try www.ipsf.com and look for their sandbed clams. Those are not photosynthetic clams and are only filter feeders...I don't think it is a good idea to go for small Tradacna clams..Good luck
IPSF also carries other things....

Greg,

Just to expand on Tony's reply....

Clams less than 2" have terrible survival rates, and for this reason should be avoided, and usually are by wholesalers and retailers. Occasionaly one inchers are available, but they require alot of food (phytoplankton) and even with that have poor survival.

The other issue is that buying a tiny clam for a small tank is like buying a tiny tang for a small tank. Assuming that the clam lived, they do grow, and depending on the species, sometimes quite quickly.
