I'm here on business until Friday. I'm not sure if I'll have time or not, but I understand that the Mandalay Bay has a nice aquarium. Is it worth a special trip if I end up with some spare time.

Hi Doug,
personally, i like the Shark Reef. as long as you go there knowing it's not a full-scale aquarium, you'll enjoy it. it's similar to the Aquarium at Fisherman's Wharf in SF.

the only other tanks that i enjoy looking at on the strip are the ones at the Mirage & the Seahorse Lounge tank in Caesars. the Mirage is worth a special trip IMO, they have some cool fish including the largest dog face puffer i've ever seen. the Seahorse lounge is smaller and probably not worth the extra trip unless you're totally into seahorses.

I agree with Jeff on all counts.

I do like the Shark Reef, just to enjoy the fish though. For nothing more than that. It can be crowded, so if that does bother you be warned.
