logo ideas

hey everyone, alberto mentioned we needed a logo. this is an area i can actually help with.

here is the first idea i put together. just lemme know what you think. the logo below is still pretty dirty, i would need to clean it up quite a bit. just a jumping point. its sort of hard to just come up with a logo, without knowing some basics of what we want. but feel free to give me some feedback....too busy? to flashy? more official looking? anything at all.

also - i am pretty limited with the photos i have. but, i think they should be personal/original to our group.

dgasmd - i know, and its driving me crazy. it was there till about noon.....then i got an email from reefcentral saying they were deleting the picture. i emailed them (not really sure who to email though) and no word back. i dont want to make people mad by just re posting the pic. it was in my gallery, and they took it out of there too.

any ideas?
