This event is Sept 10-12 in Boston... check out this link for details
www.macnaboston.com or or RC's home page you can find it at the bottom of the page...originally I was thinking about going on Fri but it appears there are more events going on Sat and Sun.

There are some worshops but if you want to sign up, there is a fee and limited space so you should check it out asap for reservations....

Amtrak will get you there, I will get more info on how to get there from the Boston Staion but you can check out www.thedowneaster.com for a schedule....it cost $42 and it appears the earliest you arrive in Boston is 9:45, add some time to get to the show itself

I am leaning to driving down Sat or Sun but I would really like to leave early (5:30-6) as things start rolling at 8:30ish... I may get really crazy and go both days....... if you are interested, ya gotta let me know so this can be co-ordinated..

Cabin if you change your mind, let me know... I want to get the most bang from my bucks and want to be there when the lectures start....

I think Penny was going but I am not sure what day(s) and when we spoke about carpooling last spring, she mentioned riding with a smoker.......

Which day do you want to go Jason? Any preference???? Again I may just find myself all caught up and go both days but the speakers on Sat look more appealing only becasue I have not heard of many of the speakers on Suns agenda...however I am not saying I could not learn anything from them :D

Hi Denise,
Either day, or maybe both.... I haven't looked at the schedule yet. Do they have stuff for sale as well on both days?

Count me in for a day.

I typically work OT on saturdays, but I would gladly make an exception.

Denise, I owe you a frag for the last carpool.

I can't decide whether this is worth the trip. Having never been to any of these, can anyone tell me what you see there? Are there good display tanks? Usual corals for sale? Or is it more equipment and lectures? Thanks to anyone who can provide information, it is a long haul to Boston and I'm up to my eyebrows in other things that need to be done so I'm trying to prioritize.

Wynne,

Its the show of shows for the hobbiest. There will be vendors in addition to a boatload of speakers let-alone displays.

Nice pics.

If only I could have gone to this years MACNA, especially where it was in Boston, oh well, looks like I'll just have to look a little harder out here in Korea.
