cleaning bulbs

Just read your recent article and was wondering what you think is the best way to clean MH bulbs? I try and keep the glass sheild clean, but never thought about the bulbs, I always figured the less I handled the bulbs the better.

good question indeed. With the lamps off and cool of course, a soft cloth (terry cloth like a bath/hand towel) or the like with distilled water works just fine. No worries!
