just wondered if anyone knew what this was infesting my hydnophora? there are 3 or 4 of these tube-like growths on my coral. they are quite flexible when hit with the baster. i did notice that one of them eventually healed completely.
i will assume tube worm of some variety, but not sure.

can't really help here. have you posted in dr. ron's forum for an ID?
honestly, the picture looks like receeding tissue to me.

you know, that's what i thought too. but after watching one particular spot completely heal back up, i was not sure.

wow, ron shimek actually responded to my post! but sadly, the image was not clear enough for him. he thought a tube worm was the likely culprit. curse you, 1.0 megapixel handycam!
that canon digital rebel will soon be mine!
