I am looking for some tanks to put my frags in so they can growout, around the size of 2 to 4 feet long. Any Kinda of breeder tanks or tanks that are not that tall would be great. So if anybody is looking to sell any tanks let me know.
Thanks
Matt

i would find a 75 and put LR at the bottom and then on top put eggcrate or some sort of stand to hold the frags about 8" under the lights...

or else the easiest thing would to be have an acrylic grow out tank build... maybe 16" tall and whatever width and length you want

unfortunaly i have no space for a 75 gallon, after thinking about it I can not go any bigger than 3 foot long tank. I might look into having an acrylic tank built though.

A tank I have that AGA makes that I think would work really well for what you want is a 33g breeder (I think it's labled as a 30g, but if you calculate it, it's actually about 33g).

It's 36" long, 18" deep, and only 12" high. It gives you lots of floor space to work with, only I think 1.5 square feet less than a 75g.

One thing though, you most likely will never find one in a LFS as they are a very odd size and because of their shape the bottom pane of glass is thick making the tank more expensive. A LFS ordered in one for me for $90.

Considering, having an acrylic made might be just as much.

I have custom acrylic tank that is 3' x 2' i think....and about 18" tall it does need a little repair, nothin major and esy to fix. No bulkheads or holes in it so it is easily customizable....
so because it is damageg how about $40?

If you want to see it or want a pic email me at
