Ok so the 300 gallon got scaled down when she realized just how big 300 was. So now it is more than likely going to be 120-130ish. Glass

I have been looking at glasscages.com My questions start here.

I am going to run a sump/fuge on this tank. Probably a 55. So how do you pump the water out of the main tank to the fuge? At the bottom, middle, top? I know I will have to use pumps ect. Can I just use PVC to the main tank with a pipe like an over the back filter uses? Then the pump back up through PVC? Hopefully I made sense...

Mostly looking at how to do it, before I do it.

Thanks for any help.

get a reef ready tank from the start. It will drop water to the sump via gravity and you can use a pump to return the water to the tank. most of the time the tanks already have a place for a return line as well.

The cost of a reef ready tank is not reall an option.

Break-up:
125 glass - 225.00

125 Perfecto- 525 pre-drilled

Oceanic - Kinda outragous

I can get a glass tank drilled. I am just looking at my options as far what to do and where to drill.

Man believe that you would drill on the top and the returnI guess where ever below water line. I here thats about $10 to drill a hole then the bulkheads. I would definateley get it drilled though you will thank yourself. Overflow box shouldn't be an option I wouldn't think.

Binswanger Glass on Campbell will drill a tank. They charged me $7/hole. I'll bring over a pic today and show ya what you can do.

Definately get it drilled though.
