What IS that thing in the picture? I can't figure it out!

It's a catfish w/ a basket ball stuck in it's mought. A really big catfish. The kind we use to catch in Oklahoma by sticking our hands in underwater holes and letting them bite on. :) Noodling baby!!!

I thought it was a photo of Dolphins attacking a Great White who was supporting Net Caught Tuna.

LOL. I haven't ever really seriously noodled. A good friend of mine did a great documentary on it though if you're interested in seeing it. It is truly a bizarre sport/way of fishing.

Sometimes these people have to go totally underwater to get to the holes where the catfish lay and get them to bite their arms. It's pretty intense to watch. My buddy that made the film swears he's going to take me out to "get bit" but i'm usually only in Oklahoms during the winter months so it's too cold....Oh darn

The film is too long to have hosted online but it's shown on pbs regularly. You can also check out www.okienoodling.com You can order it for cheap (it's really a good film) and check out pics on his site. Pics of the new tank will be coming soon. I've been swamped building ZEOvit reactors lately and haven't made much progress on it lately.

Can't see the trailer on my mac, pictures looks cool tho.

Thanks for the offer on the DVD, I don't think I will have any spare time to watch TV for the next few months.
