selling just because of ich? going fishless for about a month and a half will take care of that.

I have did that 2 times the last was for 2 months when I added my next fish he had Ich in 21 days, The fish I was buying were very large fish 10-15" range so I has no QT that large. I don't want small fish in my tank

the larger fish could be part of the problem. I'd think a 15" fish would want/need more room than 72" to swim. the stress from lack of space could be contributing to the ich. perhaps half that size or so would be better for a 300g tank, still not a small fish but IMO would be better suited to tank life. are you getting out of the hobby or just making room for a larger tank so you can keep the larger fish?
