Hello all
I dismantled my 38g last weekend and will soon be setting it back up at the office and transferring all the contents of the 55g to it. So I will be needing some sand soon. I've heard great things about Southdown, but I know it is hard to get in this area. Does anyone know where I could buy some?
Thanks,
kev

I think Mdwannabe still has some and I think pioneerlog has one more bag left.

Thanks Chris
I'll wait for each of them to offer, if they want to sell it. But...Judging from mdwannabe's other post looking for LS, I'd bet he's using all he's got.
Can this product, or something similar, be bought retail anywhere near?
How much will I need?

I think Rick is actually trying to get rid of his. As far as how much, my rule of thumb (created in the deepest darkest depths of my own mind, so follow at own risk) for dry sand has always been 1# per tank gallon size. I tend to go a little heavier, but I like deeper beds (~4-5"). I don't know if there is anything out there to support that, but that is how I have always added sand.
