I am at UM, local stores?

Hey guys-
I am U of Miami for a month for their Marine Biology summer scholar program. Are there any LFS near by the campus? i am in the hecht dorm if that helps. TIA!

Hey, I lived in Mahoney back in '98. How you like the campus? Pretty sweet huh? UM spent 14 million dollars on palm trees alone for the landscaping of the campus. Just a little UM trivia for you there :lol:.

Anyways, unfortunately I don't know of any LFSs around there, but you could always do a search for pet stores at http://yp.bellsouth.net

If your at the Coral Gables campus, there are a couple. Gables Aquarium 1 block east of US1 next to the shops at Sunset place ask for George. He's a really good guy. Aquariumart on S. Dixie near So. Miami Hospital. There are quite a few in that general area but those are the closest to UM. Good Luck.

i was in Rosborough in 92 :-)

gables aquarium is by far the closest to UM
aquarium mart is the second closest.
the rest are mostly way down south by the falls shopping mall or west on bird road by 826/palmetto
