View Full Version : Where is the Pickling Lime - Indianapolis

Ok, my local Kroger on 10th Street doesn't carry pickling lime anymore. I checked the Walmart on Pendleton and they don't have it either. Ok....Where are they hiding the stuff. Bout to run out so I need to stock up again.

meijer had it when i was there the other day... near the big stockpots if i remember correctly... like the things they use for canning and stuff

I got mine in Castleton right there at the grocery next to PetsMart. Marsh!! (I had to ask hubby)....I think its 82nd street.

Sorry for the noob question, but I am currious, what are you using the pickleing lime for?

(grr, hate being new to this, ask me anything about a FW tank and I can tell you, now I'm the noob:rolleyes: )

Kalkwasser.....dripping it in makeup water to maintain calcium. :)

I don't know about in Indy, but here in muncie, our Meijer carries it in the canning supplies, it is hidden over in the pots and pans by the shoes. It took me like an hour before I finally asked some random guy and he showed it to me:-P
