July Meeting

ok, time to start thinking about the july meeting. i think it might be cool to hit a few tanks in one evening down in radford.

any offers? thursday seem to be the 'regular' night for a meeting, but whoever hosts gets to pick the time/date.

Like I said - not much to see yet, but maybe you guys with more established tanks can offer advice and/or just hang around and shoot the breeze.

So if you want to make it a Radford night I am game. I will get back to you on when I figure out my calendar. My wife will be back on the 17th and we have vacation plans after that so it probably will be before that weekend.

Would you guys have huge objections to meeting on a Friday ? Just makes it a bit easier for me as I work in Wytheville and we are currently on a Summer schedule where we work an extra hour M-Th, and work half-days on Fridays.

If that is ok I would propose Friday 16th July for our July meeting, though 9th would work too.

my weekend plans were just changed for me and now i can't come. the parents need me to go home this weekend and i have a 6+ hour drive tonight and have to be up by 5-6:00 tomorrow morning.

so it looks like nobody from blacksburg will be there at pizza inn to meet you. i believe everyone else is gone on vacation. i'll send an e-mail to the guys that might still be in town and point them here to let you know if they are coming or not.

man! I just found out about tonight's meeting!! Already have plans unfortunately. Is there a way that I can be automatically notified that posts are being made to our NRV Club forum so I don't miss out on anything?

the only thing i can think of is if we start an 'announcements' thread, then have everyone subscribe to it. when you subscribe to it (click 'subscribe to this thread' near the bottom of the page) you'll get an e-mail when anyone posts anything to it.

just gotta make sure there's no discussions in there so it doesn't clog up everyone's email then people start ignoring it.

The reason I picked this week is because I have a project milestone next Friday (we are installing a new phone system) and may well have to work pretty late. The following weekend (7/23-25) I will be out of town.
